VGLAWYERS acted as Legal Advisor to Engineer team awarded by FIDIC

Since 2018, our Firm has been providing legal advisory services to the ORIGIN Consortium of Engineering Consultants, on the management of CERN’s most important construction project (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire) for the upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), within the High Luminosity Project.

The project is undertaken by a consortium of major European construction companies, on the basis of a customized construction contract drawn up by FIDIC (Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs – Conseils), based on the well-known FIDIC Red Book. The services of the Consultant Engineer (Engineer in the terminology of the Red Book) are provided by the ORIGIN Consortium, which is comprised by renowned companies in the field, namely, SETEC TPI (France) – CSD Ingénieurs SA (Switzerland) – ROCKSOIL SpA (Italy)

Every year FIDIC organizes the Contract Users’ Awards Ceremony, at which it presents awards for the best management and application of FIDIC contracts and standards. We are proud to be part of the Team that managed this great, for global scientific knowledge, project and that our team has been recognized by FIDIC as the best FIDIC Red Book Contract Management Team for 2021!
